Three channel memory settings |
The memory setting function
makes routine work easy and simple, storing centrifugal
speed, RCF and time. It is possible to save, recall and
operate the centrifugal condition just by pushing the

Balancing of the sample |
The 8410 model enables
one to reduce the experiment time, allowing centrifugal
separation to be carried out with eye measured sample
balancing. With its tolerable inbalance sensor, it is
not necessary to balance the sample with remarkable accuracy.
In addition, the operation is smooth and it maintains
a quiet environment. |

Special designed ventilation system |
With its special lid
ventilation feature, the 8410 can prevents samples from
being tested at unexpectedly high temperature. The ventilation
mechanism, newly designed by KUBOTA for the 8410, allows
air circulation in a smooth manner. Furthermore, this
one-way ventilation system permits quiet operation during
spinning. |

Acceleration/Deceleration (Three-level switching) |
The 8410 model provides
Three-level switching for both acceleration and deceleration,
corresponding to application requirements. For example,
in those cases where one must avoid whirring up the samples,
a slow deceleration can be programmed so as to achieve
the desired conditions and most accurate results. |

Safety lid |
The lid of the 8410 is
designed with safety in mind. The air-breathing hole has
been done away with to prevent the possibility of accidents
such as foreign subject inhalation. |

Alarm indicator and automatic stop functions |
Various alarm indicators
and automatic stop functions improve safety further and
stop the operation immediately after activation in the
case of an emergency. The 8410 model is equipped with
an alarm indication function including imbalance detection,
abnormally high temperature detection, speed sensor and
temperature sensor fault detection. The rotor sensor detects
whether the rotor is set correctly to the drive shaft.
In addition, the unit is fitted with a circuit breaker.

g.sec integrator function
(Option) |
The g.sec integrator
function optimizes the protocols in those cases where
customers need to achieve exactly the same centrifugal
effect. One can obtain the same effect just by setting
the g.sec value in the 8410 model. The g.sec integrator
function enables one to control centrifuge spins with
the same centrifugal effect and to calculate g.sec value.
