Specially designed ventilation system |
The specially designed
ventilation system of the 8600 model maintains the level
of temperature, thus saving valuable test samples. The
test result at KUBOTA shows that temperature rise is within
3.5 °C even after the 8600 spins 130 x 15mL tubes
with the RS-1950 rotor for one hour. |

Three memory settings for an easy repetitive
operation |
The 8600 model is equipped
with a one-touch operation memory (three channels) suitable
for routine works. |

Acceleration/Deceleration (Three-level switching) |
The 8600 model provides
Three-level switching for both acceleration and deceleration,
corresponding to application requirements. For example,
in those cases where one must avoid whirring up the samples,
a slow deceleration can be programmed so as to achieve
the desired conditions and most accurate results. |

Interlocking mechanism and twin lock function |
The interlocking mechanism
and twin-locking system reduces noise and vibration, and
enables ease-of-use. The twin-locking system works to
completely close the lid and chamber, thus preventing
vibration of the lid and generation of noise. This system
is more effective than the single-side locking system.
The lid interlocking mechanism can be released by simply
stepping on the foot pedal; hand operations are not necessary. |

Alarm indicator and automatic stop functions |
Various alarm indicators
and automatic stop functions improve safety further and
stop the operation immediately after activation in the
case of an emergency. The 7700 model is equipped with
an alarm indication function such as [OPEN], [IMBAL],
[SPEED], and [ERROR], and with an automatic stopping function. |

g.sec integrator function
(option) |
The g.sec integrator
function (option) optimizes the protocols in those cases
where customers need to achieve exactly the same centrifugal
effect. One can obtain the same effect just by setting
the g.sec value in the 8600 model. The g.sec integrator
function enables one to control centrifuge spins with
the same centrifugal effect and to calculate g.sec value. |
